About Us
Welcome! We are so glad you are here! We are two sisters that live in Michigan. We are originally from Illinois and feel fortunate to have found a place to settle and raise our families.
Ela is the creative director of The Matthews House. She has three children, enjoys *trying* to learn pottery, and loves tending to her chickens and her garden. She dabbles in beekeeping with her husband as well.
Silvia is head of operations and finance for TMH. She is a mother of two and enjoys making culinary masterpieces from pantry staples. She has also become quite the coffee aficionado. She loves traveling to fun concerts with her husband.

We offer shipping and in-store pickup for our products. Some larger items such as dining tables and dried florals are not listed in the website, so we encourage you to stop in and take a look if you are local!
